On Friday 26th September Colin Millar, MBE visited our school. Mr Millar is a retired special school principal with over 32 years experience in mainstream and Special Education. In his spare time he can be found lecturing in Stranmillis, acting on stage in pantomimes and is currently on the Scouts NI training committee. He has written five books and spent time in each classroom reading the children stories. Primary six and seven were treated to a masterclass in how to write and publish a book. We all thoroughly enjoyed listening to his stories and were inspired to improve our writing skills.
