Fire Service visit P2

P2 had two special visitors in school today! Two firemen from Portadow Fire Station came to our class to talk about their job. They brought their full uniform that they wear to emergencies with them. We learnt that it tkes a fireman 45 seconds to get ready with all their equipment on. Mrs Neill and Mrs Glway had a chance to try and do this too! The firemen also told us all about the importance of having a smoke alarm in our house and taught us to check our smoke alarm once a week. We had a gret morning!
