Eco Schools
The children and staff were very proud when we won the most prestigious award for Eco schools last year. We were awarded the Green Flag by Tidy Northern Ireland. We are continuing our hard work in school to ensure that we are a sustainable school and continue to make efforts to improve our local and global environment.
The school Eco committee meet weekly with Mrs Dunlop to make sure that our projects are working well and to come up with new ideas. This year we are focusing on the topics of Active Travel and Fair-trade. We have become a Fairaware school and have been successfully chosen to work with Sustrans Active Travel to improve how we travel to school.
